After breaking records at the Chinese box office, Vin Diesel’s Fast & Furious 9 opened to a stellar US box office last week as it collected $70 million including paid previews on its opening weekend. The film became the highest-grossing film of the year, beating A Quiet Place 2, which collected $47 million in its first three days.
