Hollywood star Max Minghella, who is currently seen in The Handmaid’s Tale, is a huge fan of popular Korean band BTS. The actor, who made his directorial debut in 2018 with the film Teen Spirit, has a huge passion for the band.
In 2018, Max, Elle Fanning and Zlatko were in an interview with Burik Josh Horowitz, in which the actress revealed that Mingella introduced her to BTS. Fanning confirmed that Minghella is BTS’s biggest fan because she said, “He loves V, he loves V.” The host asked Minghella how he became a fan of the K-pop group, to which the handsome actor said, “I blame Dylan O’Brien for that. Dylan O’Brien is the guy who introduced me to BTS … It’s never been a good thing for anyone in my life. I’m so obsessed, it’s been my main focus.”
When the host asked him if he’d like to direct a movie about Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook, Minghella explained his obsession with BTS? The actor said, “Oh, I’d love it. I’d love to do, like, John Chu-esque, tour life, yeah, that would be great.
In 2019, Max was a guest on The Late Late Show with James Corden. The host asked Max about his experience being a BTS fan and the actor said, “It was wonderful,” Minghella said. The actors seem to have marveled with the band as he said, “It’s amazing, I don’t know how they do it. They’re amazing artists.”
He even said that he attended a BTS concert with O’Brien. “I went with my best friend Dylan O’Brien, who is a teenage heartthrob. We were honestly so worried he was going to be recognized, so we had to wear a fairly elaborate outfit,” Max said here. Even said that he liked Jungkook and Vee the most.
