BTS is currently one of the most popular and successful bands. He has tremendous fan following. But not long ago, band member J-Hope said he felt ’embarrassed’ to talk about success.
In an interview to Rolling Stone India, he spoke about his definition of success. He said that when I was young, many times he used to think that debut meant success. He said, “When I first faced what I considered to be ‘success’, I found what I lacked and that was the beginning of my learning journey. It’s a little embarrassing to talk about success, because I guess I’m just learning.” He said that everyone has different definitions and standards of success. “I find it comforting to know that I will do my best to reach the level of success that I have set for myself. This is how I see success in the present,” he had said.
In another interview with Rolling Stone, J-Hope revealed how he balances his consistently optimistic image with the ups and downs that come his way. The handsome star revealed how his outlook towards life has changed and he has started seeing the bright side of his life. As an artist, he said that he has begun to show his more complex emotions through his music.
He had said that things are really different than before and he just tried to show who he really is. “I think that’s what’s most comfortable for me. You know, everyone has a different side to what they show. Of course, there’s a burden and pressure on me as an artist. I make them just for that. I take what they are. I just try to express that I’m going to overcome these difficulties,” J-Hope said.
Well, this is a really candid look of the singer.
