Matthew Perry, who played Chandler in the sitcom Friends, was the funniest. Being funny was his thing and he made us laugh with all his jokes. Now that the Friends reunion is finally happening, he’s in the news again with his co-stars like Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, and Courteney Cox. But today, Matthew is in the limelight especially because of his Friends themed T-shirt.
As vaccination has become a huge deal amid the coronavirus pandemic, Matthew Perry came up with the idea of launching the T-shirt in-Sync with Friends and Pandemic. He shared a picture on his Twitter handle, in which he is seen in a black T-shirt with VACCINATED written on it. The font used is exactly the same as Friends. He shared the picture with the caption, “Can I get more vaccinated? Get your shot and then get your shirt on. Buy the entire collection at http://represent.com/matthewperry Available for a limited time only is.”
With this, his followers are embroiled in a debate on whether it is a good idea to withdraw money from the pandemic. A netizen commented on Mathew’s post and wrote, “It’s in bad taste to make money off vaccine related t-shirts. Can I be more pissed off.” Conversely, a fan who supported Matthews wrote, “This is lovely and really promotes something positive! We have lost many in the family to Covid. I’m amazed at how upset ppl are. I am not and we have lost ppl due to covid in our family. I think it promotes vaccination that saves lives and helps to let those around us know that we are not vaccinated when we are ready to go without a mask. All good messages.
