Old memories. But amidst all the good news, the strangest information to hit the headlines is about Matthew Perry and Courtney Cox being distant cousins. Yep, you read that right!
A report in MyHeritage.com claims that Matthew and Courtney are 11th cousins as they share a married couple, William Osburn Haskell III and Ellen Haskell, who lived in England 500 years ago. Wow, that was a long time ago and both the stars definitely didn’t know about their connection until now. Reportedly, Allen and her two sons emigrated from England to America in 1635. His son Roger is said to be a direct ancestor of Kourtney. Another son named William is said to be a direct ancestor of Matthew. The connection has been made through Courteney’s mother, Courteney Copeland, and Perry’s father, John Bennett Perry.
Matthew and Monica played each other’s love interest in the show and their chemistry was loved by millions. As a couple, their characters fit in very well and they delivered moments that got everyone emotional, including Monica’s proposal to Chandler. Their wedding on the show was also one of the best highlights of the 10 season of Friends. After the show, they kept in touch and came out as best friends. Apart from girls, Kourtney has often hanged out with Matthew and even shared pictures on social media.
