The much awaited Friends Reunion Special is set to premiere on May 27 and fans are already sharing their excitement. Friends: The reunion will begin on the one-year anniversary of the launch of HBO Max Network and exactly one year after it originally aired. And guess what, members of the K-pop super band, BTS, are going to make a special appearance on the show.
Streaming service HB0 Max said on Thursday that the septet would join the likes of celebrity guests such as Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and others. BTS ARMY has gone crazy on social media as they cannot keep calm to see their favorite boy band in popular shows.
Throwing some light on the role of BTS in Friends Reunion, director Ben Winston said that he would have a small moment in the show. “I want to manage your expectations on this – this is a really short moment from BTS. They are definitely great, but they are one of the interviews, talking briefly about why they like friends Are, “Ben responded to a well-known BTS fan account.
A fan tried to decode BTS’s brief appearance and who among RM, Jin, Jimin, Wei, Suga, J-Hope and Jungkook would be featured in the special episode. “So, chances are Namjoon (BTS leader RM) will be talking about how his mom loves Friends and how he gave her the entire series on DVD, which he used to help her learn English. Since this is a Friends special, I guess Angle will (have) the cultural significance and impact of the show, internationally, “wrote the fan. To which Ben replies, “Spot on. It’s really important to manage expectations. It’s a great but short interview.”

Guys: Reunion was originally scheduled to film in February 2020, but the unit was only able to begin filming in April. The featured stars are Jennifer Aniston, Kourtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt Leblanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer as the original cast.
The reunion special will also feature guest stars including David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliot Gold, Kit Harrington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickle, Tom Selleck. James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon and Malala Yousafzai.
Friends: The Reunion will debut on HBO Max.
