BTS is one of the most popular bands and their fans aka ARMY want to know more about their work and their personal lives. Now, in an interview with Rolling Stone, BTS member Jimin confessed about being on the sidelines.
When asked what he had learned in the last one year, he said that he (BTS) is asking people to really love themselves and ask them to be strong. This year, he started telling himself the same things. He added, “I also felt that at times I used to be on the sidelines with the people around me. And I thought I should go back to the way I was, to re-arrange my gears, so to speak, so that I could be the person I used to be when it comes to being around me How I treat people and how I treat myself. “He said that he sees that people respond positively to even small positive changes.
He also told of a time when he was very strict on himself. He revealed, “When I made my debut, I had the shortest training period. And I think I was not fully prepared and convinced when we made our debut. I still have my shortcomings. I am always inspired by fans who dedicate themselves – their time, their feelings, everything about themselves – to appreciate what I do and love what I do. ”
He said that this made him feel that he should not make mistakes for his sake. “So if you ask how do I learn to be easy on myself or more generous of myself, I think it would be something that would be very difficult for me because of how I feel,” Jimin said. He also said that when people pointed out things in which he needed to do more work, it made him very angry at himself. Now, he feels grateful that people point things out if they want to improve him. It makes him want to try more.
